I have been working at Belfast International Airport for twelve months with Aviance. I completed `Ready for Take Off` in April 2002 and `Galileo Reservations Certificate` in June 2003. I hold a HND in Travel and Tourism Management. The Ready for Take Off course really helped get a job as it provided me with the knowledge and key understanding of the requirements needed to work in cabin crew and ground handling. I hope that the Galileo Reservations Certificate will improve my chances of securing promotion with my current employer. |

| I completed `Ready for Take Off` in February 2003 and started work with Aviance in Belfast International Airport the same month. I was employed as a Temporary Passenger Service Agent from February to August 2003. I hope to return to work with Aviance in the New Year. Due to family commitments, for a long period I have been unavailable for full-time work. As my family grew older and more independent I was looking for a way to get back to work. I applied for a few jobs but had no luck. I decided to do `Ready for Take Off` as it offered hope of securing a job. It has been a long while since I studied, but I really enjoyed the course. At my interview I was able to talk about airport procedures. My tutor was very helpful, preparing me for my interview. I look forward to starting back at the Airport in 2004 |

| I have just started working as a Travel Advisor with Lunn Poly. Before that, I worked for nine months with Aviance at Belfast International Airport. I completed `Ready for Take Off` in February 2003. Prior to that, I worked in education for a number of years but always harboured an ambition to work in travel. I applied for a number of jobs but I was deemed not to have the appropriate qualifications. So, I decided it was time to try and do something about this. Therefore, I registered for the `Ready for Take Off` and I have never looked back. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and it really helped change my career and get where I am today. My advice is that if you are unsettled in your job - do something about it |

| I am currently working as a Customer Service Advisor in a Visitor Attraction in Holland. I completed `Ready for Take Off` in May 2002 and this course really encouraged me to travel. I have been working in Holland for six months but I hope to return to Ireland in 2004. I am looking to secure a Cabin Crew position with any of the major airlines, preferably based out of Dublin Airport. `Ready for Take Off` definitely improved my confidence and employability. |

I have just started working as a Cabin Crew member with Ryanair at Dublin Airport. I completed `Ready for Take Off` in April 2002 and `Galileo Reservations Certificate` in June 2003. I currently am studying a part-time degree in Hotel and Tourism Management.
I really enjoyed the Ready for Take Off course, especially when we went down to Waterford Airport for practical training. I was able to talk about this experience at my interview with Ryanair. The advice and support I have received from GTT has helped me get this job and the Diploma in International Travel Industry Studies has really launched my career.
