If you are interested in a career as a CABIN CREW MEMBER,
then this course is for you!
Approximately 80 hours study time required. The course is divided into seven sections: general, cabin crew member, passenger service agent, basic IATA fares and ticketing, travel agent, reservation sales agent, interview preparation. The course material is of the highest quality and is recognized as such by Airlines and Travel companies worldwide. Students are required to sit a 21/2 hour end of unit assessment at an agreed location. Upon successful completion they will be awarded a Certificate of International Travel Industry Studies from the International Academy of Travel.

Duration of the Course: Approximately 80 hours
Examination: RFTO examination will be held at least once per year around April in Belfast. GTT qualified staff will invigilate the examination. Examination entry is included in the course fee. The exam is a written assessment lasting 2 ½ hours. In addition to this, examinations can be arranged by special request at Waterford Regional Airport.
Progression: So what do I do now?
On successful completion of RFTO there is a variety of options open to you. You could further enhance your employability by undertaking a Reservations Course such as Galileo, Worldspan, Amadeus or Sabre.. At GTT we are committed to supporting you and we will provide advice on how to secure a job. As a GTT graduate you will be accepted into the GTT Network where you will have opportunities to talk to past GTT students currently working in the industry.
